Mr. Mihara will present on his own experiences at Heart Mountain Relocation Camp, why only Japenese Americans were imprisoned, and what life was like for them both in camps around the country and upon returning home. He will also touch on today’s prison camps for refugees and the potential for registration of Muslim Americans. Mr. Mihara is perhaps the only former Japanese internment camp prisoner of a who is speaking nationally about his experience.
