MOSES – Public Safety Task Force

This is MOSES’ monthly task force meeting on Public Safety.  The task force was established by MOSES Leadership Board in September 2020 to reform public safety practices in Dane County.

Our first step is to advocate to:

  • reduce the overall reliance on armed law enforcement officers for maintaining public safety for both juveniles and adults.
  • reduce racial disparities in rates of law enforcement surveillance and arrest for both juveniles and adults.
  • increase responsiveness of public safety organizations and programs to the priorities and needs of lower income and Black and other people of color residing in Dane County.

We meet on the 3rd Thursdays of each month, 6:00 – 7:00 pm
